An MBA graduate of Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management, Bassem Mansour has served as managing partner and co-CEO of the Cleveland private equity firm Resilience Capital Partners since 2001. Focusing on private equity and distressed investing, Bassem Mansour of Hunting Valley, Ohio, has served on the boards of several of Resilience Capital’s portfolio companies.
In July 2020, the Resilience Capital portfolio company CR Brands, Inc., sold its line of stain-removing and at-home dry cleaning products to Scott’s Liquid Gold, Inc. Acquired by Resilience in 2012, CR Brands offers a range of effective, affordable household cleaning and laundry products that are distributed nationwide through leading retailers.
The sale of the Biz Stain & Odor Eliminator and Dryel product lines will allow CR Brands to focus on remaining products under the brand names OxiClean™ and Arm & Hammer™. These products include Arm & Hammer Essentials Disinfecting Wipes, which utilize citrus-based disinfection instead of harsh chemicals, and the Arm & Hammer Fruit & Vegetable Wash, which effectively removes pesticide residue with pure, safe ingredients.
